Terms and Refunds

Who we are

Deerlight Labs ("we", "us") runs a small group of websites that make short AI videos from photos ("our sites"). Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by Waffo, which acts as the merchant of record: the charge on your statement comes from Waffo. PayPal payments are processed by PayPal.

By using our sites you agree to these terms, to the Content rules shown on each site, and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Use a real email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You can sign in with email and a password or with Google.

Your photos

• Upload only photos you took or have the right to use.
• Sites made for pets and places refuse photos that show people.
• Every photo is checked before anything is made, and photos that break a site's Content rules are refused.
• You let us store and process your photo only to make your video and to keep the service safe. We delete uploaded photos within 7 days.

Your videos

Videos are made by AI. You may keep them and share them for personal and social use. Don't present them as real footage to mislead anyone, and follow the rules of the platforms where you post them. Videos stay in your account for 30 days; download the ones you want to keep.

Credits and payments

• Packs are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Each site shows its prices in US dollars before you pay; taxes may be added at checkout.
• One credit makes one HD video. Credits don't expire.
• Prices may change, but a change never affects credits you already bought.

Refunds

• A video fails or is refused by our checks: the credit comes back to your account by itself.
• Something is wrong with an HD video (it won't play, or it clearly isn't the style you picked): write to us within 14 days and we will remake it or refund it.
• Credits you haven't used: you can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying the pack.
• Credits already used to make a video are not refundable, except in the cases above, because the video was delivered.

To ask for a refund, email support@deerlightlabs.com from the email address of your account. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we usually answer within one business day.

What you may not do

Follow each site's Content rules. We may refuse uploads, remove videos, and suspend or close accounts that break them. Don't try to get around the safety checks, scrape our sites, or resell the service.

The service as it is

We work to keep our sites running and the videos good, but AI results vary and the service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will say so on this page and on our sites before it takes effect.
